The popular "849" collection inherits the roots of Caran d'Ache, which started as a pencil factory in Geneva, Switzerland in 1915.
Rainbow colors that awaken the "inner child" within each of us.

Caran d'Ache's 2022 Christmas collection, "Color Treasure," is a magical collection that delights all who love color, with the theme of "a treasure chest buried at the base of a rainbow."

The 849 ballpoint pen comes in two types: "Warm Rainbow," based on yellow and pink, and "Cold Rainbow," based on blue and green. The design, inspired by Caran d'Ache's colored pencils, features the colors of the left and right sides of the rainbow, respectively.

The ballpoint pen is known for its excellent writing quality, and the ballpoint pen refill called the Goliath cartridge has six tracks that send ink to the tip of the ball, allowing the ink to be broken down and sent to the ball, so there is almost no ink blotching.
It boasts a writing distance of 8km, equivalent to 600 pages of A4 size paper.
